Anatomy

  1. Card Name:
Some card effects refer to the card name.
  2. Energy Cost:
The the amount of energy needed to play the card.
  3. Card Type:
The three types of combat cards are:  Attack, Maneuver, and Reaction.
  4. The Effect Text:
Describes the effects of the card once it has been played.
  5. Shields:

  7. Ranger:

Card Types

ATTACK

Attack:

  • Attack Cards can have you roll dice, deal a set number of damage, or a combination of both.  Many Attack Cards have additional effects that are described in the Effect Text.
  • Some Attack Cards have a “Special” label, which means that damage is dependent on what the Effect Text says.

MANEUVER

Maneuver:

  • Maneuver cards will usually grant energy to the Rangers, or allow them to manipulate cards in their hand, deck or discard pile.

REACTION

Reaction:

  • Reaction may be played whenever the appropriate conditions (described in the Effect Text) are met.
  • These cards may be played during both Ranger and Enemy Turns.
